Welcome to Beautiful For You,  I’m Merrilee (or Mel) and thanks for visiting my page. This is a place where I am excited to share pictures of my own family and of others who have trusted me to create beautiful images for them.

As a busy Mum to 2 precious children and wife to my fabulous man, I wear a lot of hats but let’s face it – in amongst life’s craziness I have a terrible memory!! So a photo, to me, is the best way to remember!! I wish for more brain space to retain things, but it just doesn’t seem to happen!!

I never dreamed when I decided to take a course and learn to use my camera (so that I could document my own family better) that it would lead me here. But here we are – I’m on an incredible journey, and I am still learning and experiencing more all the time. Newborns and babies have become a specialty of mine but I love to photograph all sorts of things.

I love capturing and documenting life’s events, big and small, exactly as they are, with all their emotion and detail, in the most beautiful way I can. And then comes the most rewarding part – giving the images to you – so that you can remember, cherish and adore them.

Special moments are all around us, even in our ho-hum everyday routines, but it all changes so fast (or we move on and forget!) – don’t miss it. Have the precious moments and interactions of life documented and captured – Beautifully – For You.
