Special occasions and events all have their place in life and the moments always warrant documenting, yet something else I love to photograph is just as special and far more common – it’s the “non-events” of life!!! In these we experience joy, excitement, witness growth and often interact with our dearest. Whilst we may not feel like it at the time – these moments and routines only last a short time. Its these “non events” I love to capture and record as your story. The joy of your children at the playground, a visit to the beach, the bath and bed routine or perhaps its play in your own backyard or some other tradition of your family. The joy of a little girl immersed in her dream as a dancing ballerina – a stage that passes so quickly – whatever it is – it can all be captured beautifully.
